Jordan Brand and Converse are more intertwined than most casual observers would think: they're both under the greater Nike umbrella, and they both have a history one more obvious than the other with one Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Jordan wore Converse during his collegiate days at the University Of North Carolina, so the two brands teamed up last year for all white leather converse a two-shoe pack consisting of an Air Jordan 2 and a Converse Fastbreak Mid, the shoe Jordan wore during the 1984 Olympics.
It turns out these ended up getting scrapped from the DMP and now the only place you might be able to find a pair baby blue converse of samples is ebay. via KenluPro skater Al Davis is teaming up with Converse to release the "Court Pack", his debut signature collection. The capsule includes the Pro Leather, a silhouette that Davis himself favors, and the Fastbreak Mid built with premium suede uppers. The Pro Leather model features a clean white upper with "Al D" embossed on the quarter panel in gold foil while the Fastbreak Mid comes in a stark black with a gum sole.
The Pro Leather is vaguely reminiscent of what you'd expect from a baby girl converse Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High x Blazer mashup (interesting timing on the heels of the Stussy edition ), and the Auckland Racer wins the novelty contest with a rustic red makeup whose African goat build is the only one we've seen of its kind.
